2. The Grove at Camp Richardson, formerly the Beacon Bar & Grill, is a beloved lakeside destination. Dock your boat and unwind on their sandy beach while savoring their mouthwatering menu, which includes bison barbecue bacon burger, miso salmon entree and fried chicken and beignets, a dish with ricotta beignets, coleslaw, spicy agave, and powdered sugar. 3. Jakes on the Lake, located on the shores of Tahoe City, is the ultimate waterfront dining while they treat you to their warm “mountain aloha” hospitality. This has been family-owned and operated since 1978. Californian and Hawaiian flavors inspire their menu by featuring an abundant variety of fresh seafood, quality meats, and seasonal produce. Their focus is to bring the best and most responsibly sourced ingredients to the table, which include menu items from fried ahi poke rolls, deep-sea crab cakes, grilled Ahi burgers to fish tacos to vegan buddha bowl while in the evening, the seafood menu expands to herb-crusted Maine lobster tails to Angus filet mignon.

If you just need a quick fix, Obexer’s at Homewood offers crafted deli sandwiches and freshly swirled f’real milkshakes and smoothies, perfect for enjoying the lake views from their outdoor deck in the summer or back on board the Tahoe Star. They also have an incredible selection of Dedrick’s gourmet cheeses, crackers, and snacks, as well as a huge selection of micro beers and wines. In addition, Obexer’s is known for its breakfast burritos and bagels.
5. Riva Grill is ideally situated at the Ski Run Marina, where you can start or end your journey on the Tahoe Star. The Riva Grill showcases the nostalgic ambiance of Tahoe’s classic wooden boat era.
